Failure of the common calcaneal tendon complex (gastrocnemius, SDFT, and accessory tendons) leading to plantigrade stance, tarsal instability, and impaired propulsion. Management ranges from immobilization and orthoses to surgical repair and augmentation, as well as biologic adjuncts.
