Small osteochondral fragments within the carpal joints, typically resulting from repetitive loading or trauma in athletic horses. These fragments cause synovitis, pain, and reduced performance, and are commonly treated with arthroscopic removal.

Degenerative joint disease characterized by cartilage wear, synovial inflammation, and progressive osteophyte formation. Often secondary to repetitive stress or prior injury, management includes arthroscopic debridement and intra-articular therapies.
